• My experiences and opinions. No simple link aggregation or reformatting and presenting other views as my own. No AI authorship. I post my own original thoughts and ideas.

Hosting

This website is hosted by a VPS that I self-fund. The actual hosting provider might change as I seek out the best deals on LowEndBox. For now, here’s some information about the host:

• 2 vCPUs (Intel Xeon based, shared)
• 2.5 GB RAM
• ~50GB of fast SSD storage

The web server is Caddy. It is:

• Memory safe (written in Go), and therefore safe from a large class of vulns
• Running with minimal priviledges
• Running inside a container
• Simple and easy to use
• Serving multiple sites/services
• Expandable to perform many different tasks

Nothing of value is stored on this web server. It contains no useful secrets. Passwords and tokens are unique and singular in purpose. The server doesn’t interface or connect with any other valuable servers or services. Its resources are humble. Please behave.
